Fudgees!!

My youngest daughter is home from BYUI for two weeks, after which we are on our way to Utah to move her to Provo and attend Education Week. As always, when my kids come home, I always like to spoil them by buying their favorite foods while they are here. So on my way out the door to go grocery shopping, I asked this daughter if there was anything that I could get her. Her reply? "Mom...get some Fudgees!!"

Fudgees? What in the sam hill are Fudgees? "Mom...you've never had Fudgees?" No. Then you really need to get some!

Positive that we didn't have these things in California and that they were probably a hictown Rexburg thing, I was on a Fudgee quest. (no nasty emails regarding Rexburg, we really love it there!)

Surprisingly, I found them right away. After being home for like.......2 milliseconds....I ripped open the bag.

And then I prepared to taste these morsels called Fudgees. OMG! These are so good....I am in big trouble. B.I.G. T.R.O.U.B.L.E. These are the kind of things that are considered "mommy treats" and you hide them from your children and put them into the recesses of your cupboards where only you know where they are. Except when your children are older they will tell you that they knew where your stash was the whole time!

So I tell my daughter that I am so....SO...in trouble because these are so yummy and she says....."Mom, They are even BETTER dunked in milk!"

So I gotta go now. I need to find me a glass.

This is so not good ditcher. What are you doing to us out here. LOL

I saw this bag at the grocery store and decided never to try them. They looked really good. Now here you go tempting us all. I might cave sometime.

Great to hear your daughter is home for a few. And that you are so awesome in getting her some goods. Yeah for great moms.

I must have missed those in the cookie isle. I think I'll keep out of that isle for awhile and try to forget about them. Otherwise....I'll become "Jumbo Jenn"

We just recently discovered these. The kids picked them out and we crushed them and used them as topping for homemade ice cream. Homemade ice cream is way more fattening than milk. We topped it with chocolate syrup. I snarfed mine down, practically drinking the lovely concoction. The kids mixed theirs into some form of heavenly "soup". MMMMM!

Oh no! I can't even go there! ;)

You know... it isn't completely out of the realm of possibility that Idaho would have something California doesn't. I used to work for a food company and one of their favorite test markets for new products was Idaho!

I am going to have to try these out! I have a little man who worships oreos! Thanks for the great review on these. I'll purchase a bag! My mom did the same thing for me, when I came home from college! I loved it. I put in tons of requests but they were usually homemade requests. I feel so bad for her that I made her cook so much, being a mother myself.

I'm originally from Canada and OREO products are under the "Mr Christie" brand there. There is a very similar cookie (same OREO brand) that I've been eating for about 20 years now called FUDGEE-OS. The only difference is that FUDGEES have OREO cookie on the outside and FUGDEE-OS have a slightly more milk chocolate cookie on the outside. All I can say is FINALLY!!! I don't have to bother my mother to UPS me anymore cookies! Look up FUDGEE-OS on youtube.com or check them out on google.com.
