After we figured out what to do, in an effort to lighten the mood, I asked her if she had mascara running down her face now. She replied that she didn’t.
How can you cry with mascara without it smearing down your cheeks and smushed under your eyes?
(Not a real picture of daughter. Just a hired actor to play my daughter on my blog)
So I asked her “How come you don’t have smeared mascara?
Her reply? “ I was crying dryly!”
I started cracking up.
How in the world do you do that?
How in the world do you do that?

oh gosh! i don't know!! ha ha!!!!
I haven't a clue! But if you ever figure that out, let us know because it would save me some money on waterproof mascara (which doesn't always work, btw).
Cindy
her mind was crying but not her eyes. That way she could stay suitable for the interview!
Did she make it?
Okay, your assignment Deb... FIND OUT HOW SHE DID THAT!!!!!
I need to learn that one. Do have her post her trick.
Did she make it to the interview? m
Dry tears! WOW...
SEE YOU SOON!
She's funny! I hope her interview went well!
that is way too funny!
I need that dry mascara for Fast and Testimony Meetings :)
Deb, that's HILARIOUS! I'm trying to figure that one out too. I hope she made it just fine and she gets the job! Have a great weekend!
G'day from Australia, Deb

There is so much we learn about life from our children,

I know it can be done. I don't know HOW but I know it can be done. Because I do it a lot, at work! Next time I do it, I'll try to do it in slow mo so I'll figure out how and report to you :-)
I came over here to let you know I will be on blog-cation and will not be able to visit and comment for awhile. I will miss your posts but I will be back. Have a great Thanksgiving holiday!
Rey and I were in Provo last night to watch our son-in-law play an intermural soccer game. It was really fun! After the game we were walking out with Serretta and hubby, when we walked into Montana and Brittany! How crazy is that? I don't think I have seen Brittany since we moved 7 years ago! Crazy! She is just a doll-as I remember her! And Montana is just as you described him! Just thought I would share that with you. Love ya.
Hey- that's a legit talent! I had a similar experience to your daughter once. I had driven 4 hours to get to the interview (Redhoodoos was even with me) but I couldn't find the right place. Then I got a flat tire. I got there just in time for the final interview spot.
Hope she made it and managed to do well despite the challenge.
That is something else. I wish I knew how to do that. Glad you are so close to her :)
