Trials again...Yes!!

How old do you need to be in order to be done with trials in your life? Maybe it's not a chronological age that qualifies you that you are done with challenges. Maybe it's if you have learned enough from your prior trials that will be your "golden ticket" for admission into "Charlie's No More Trials Factory".

If this is truly the case, then I have definitely
NOT LEARNED MY LESSONS from my past challenges and the Lord is seeing fit to dish out some more so that I can learn them DANG WELL!

Two weeks ago, hubby lost his job. We thought that he had one pretty good iron the fire, but it looks like that fire might not be as hot as we thought.

We are trying to be optimistic and decided to look at this as an opportunity. Since hubby has to look for a job anyway, we decided to look in Utah and we would move out of California. Our "hot" opportunity would allow us to live in Utah, but now it may not pan out.

So it's been hard to blog while worrying. I definitely have already seen blessings though. While sharing together our concerns, worries and fears, I feel closer to him than normal. He is amazing and I am one lucky woman.

One lucky woman who will be learning more lessons.........

I remember President Hinkely saying that the last few years of his life were the hardest. I was shocked, for I thought he would have figured everything out and would not have anymore trials. But he did. So I guess we are never really done. I am so sorry about the job loss. But it is good that you have an optimistic attitude. Keep your chin up and I will be praying for the right job to come along quickly. m

You have really been on my heart this week. I'm glad you posted.
My husband and I were just talking about our past and the trials we went through and how God knew better then we did but at the time we didn't see what his plans were.
But looking back we are now so grateful for those trials~Still while we were in the trials we were very concerned like you. (Hey we are all human) :)
I will be praying for you~

We went through this in Feb. I know what you're feeling.
It brought us closer together than ever. If nothing else, that is a blessing.
The Lord will bless you and your family. He will buoy you up.

Ugh. Those trials that make us pull closer to each and the Lord... although they are yucky, sometimes they are a blessing. I'm praying for the blessing!

Deb I am truly sorry to hear of this time in your life. Your husband sounds like a strong and caring man. He will see you through this..

We will be thinking about you and keeping you in our prayers. I have seen many come out of situations like this for the better. Hang tight. I know it is hard, but it will be understood someday.

oh, I hope it all works out. No, I don't think it gets any easier. My Grandma is nearly 98, and I only see more trials on the horizon.

And you know what? If we are LUCKY, we get to improve for all eternity. I doubt growth is ever going to be terribly comfortable! I just hope it gets easier to make good decisions when we have a fuller understanding of it all.

Wow--and just after you filled my bucket with those inspiring words from Brother Maxwell!
I will pray that your heart can find peace during your storm. I have ridden through the no job thing many times--hang on tight.
I know you have been focusing on what you need to--but I have missed your posting--I was sooo excited when your name popped up in my blogroll!! How very selfish of me--I know.

Everyday a prayer for you goes out of our household. I have a friend who theorizes that every trial is supposed to bring a lesson. So the faster she learns the lesson, the quicker the trial will end. Thing is, whenever I want to know something, I just ask you and as far as I can tell, you already know everything. Wishing you bucketloads of chocolate induced euphoria without chocolate like caloric consequences.

I have been feeling vibes that all was not well. I actually came to your blog tonight expecting to leave a comment telling you I missed you.

So sorry about the job deal. PLEASE move to Utah. I'll give you a whole bunch of pink grandma cookies if you do. =)

Good luck on the job hunt. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise.
